Welcome to my blog. I have been working as a journalist for more than 30 years. My service as a writer, director and film producer includes the whole process of making documentaries. Each of the productions is a matter for the boss, from the idea to the release.
My films show people inbeautiful as well as in difficult moments. There is a farmer who is switching to organic farming and doesn’t know if it will save his farm. There is a carpenter who builds modular houses and has discovered a gap in the market. And there is a young couple who wants to give birth to their first child, even though it has a terminal illness and only a few days to live.

mit großem Erfolg hat mein Dokumentarfilm I AM AMOS auf den HEIMAT EUROPA Filmfestspielen am 19. August seine Weltpremiere gefeiert. Beide Kinosäle waren voll besetzt und die Resonanz und das Interesse an dem anschließenden Gespräch war überwältigend.
Von 23 Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmen hat I AM AMOS Platz 5 beim PUBLIKUMSPREIS geschafft – das Voting bei den Topplätzen war eng: der Sieger hatte 4,77 von 5 möglichen Herzen, wir hatten 4,69.

Nach der Vorführung kam die Frage, wann der Film online zu sehen oder als DVD zu kaufen ist. Zunächst startet der Film seine Kinotour – im Anschluss geht der Film dann online, voraussichtlich im Sommer 2027.

Dear supporters, Dear friends,
My documentary film I AM AMOS celebrated its world premiere with great success at the HEIMAT EUROPA Film Festival on August 19. Both theaters were packed, and the response and interest in the Q&A session that followed were overwhelming.
Out of 23 feature films and documentaries, I AM AMOS took 5th place in the AUDIENCE AWARD—the voting for the top spots was close: the winner received 4.77 out of a possible 5 hearts, while we received 4.69.
Many thanks to everyone who traveled – in some cases from far away – and took the time to attend this film event. I’d like to extend a special thank you to the family of the protagonist, Amos, who came to Simmern in the Hunsrück from Brazil, Israel, and Spain.
After the screening, people asked when the film would be available to watch online or purchase on DVD. First, the film will embark on its theater tour – afterward, it will be released online, likely in the summer of 2027.
